First two books in one of the best fantasy series out there

These are the first two pieces of the Pliocene Era series one of the best fantasy series ever written. The author mixes science, mythology and vivid story telling to create a fresh new take on Celtic lore. She has a spin off series that I've never read only because I' m so totally in love with the time frame of this series, so I can''t speak to them, but they are probably something I will read at some point simply because I can't get enough of this series.

A great old series!

Many of the dates in these books could use updating, but the stories still speak to me. Going back to read these, and realizing that Ms. May predicted so many bits of technology decades before their invention...I find it supremely ironic that these aren't ebooks, considering that she predicts e-readers in them!
