About the Author
Herbert McCabe was a Dominican Friar and theologian of outstanding originality who died in 2001. He was deeply influential on philosophers such as Anthony Kenny and Alasdair MacIntyre and poets and writers like Terry Eagleton and Seamus Heaney. Brian Davies is Professor of Philosophy at Fordham University, New York, USA. His publications include An Introduction to the Philosophy of Religion (Oxford University Press, 3rd edition, 2003) and The Thought of Thomas Aquinas (Oxford University Press, 1992). Norris-Hulse Professor of Divinity, and Fellow of Peterhouse, Cambridge.

As usual an excellent book by Herbert McCabe

Herbert McCabe was a very deep theologian and philosopher, dead at the beginning of this century. He is a philosoher-theologian, which are the best theologians. (Nowadays, most catholic hteologians seem to be sociologist-theologian. There is no comparison, they are much less deep.) The book is a set of articles (13) by the author, written in different times, but all of them are deep and original (and orthodox). It pays to read it, not necessarily in the order, but according to your preference of the subjects, all of them related to the title of hte book

This is a must read for every American of all ages.

This book is very detailed. After reading this book a lot of things that are happening in America will make sense and you will begin to understand the big picture. I often wondered why this country was so screwed up and why the banking and financial systems work the way they did including the media. After reading this book it helps me understand what is going on how it got to this point and what the plan is for the future .

If the people only knew of Ambassador Lee Wanta's story -- his loyal work under President Reagan in relation to the Soviet Union; how he was stabbed in the back and put in prison because of the vast sums he accumulated under Title 18, Section 6, Executive Order 12333; how his financial rewards were then stolen by the corrupt Powers That Be in government and the Federal Reserve while he was in jail; and how he wants to keep his promise to President Reagan and use the money he earned for the benefit of the American people and to fix the American economy -- they would stand up and demand his rights to his own money be honored.

The Proof Behind the Wanta Trillions

If Wanta's story is true, everything we have been told about the Federal Reserve System is wrong and everything we suspect about corruption in Washington is right. With two Washington/GOP "fixers," Sundquist and Sontag mistakenly leaving a recording of their death threat against Wanta and their attempt at a $5bn shakedown, there can be few doubts that political insiders fear Wanta and know the Wanta trillions are real.
Wanta is an exceptional person with an incredible memory and a strong sense of justice. There are things in here, in the book, that turn the world inside out, with documentary proof included.
